When I write. I start with an open mind of random ideas, traits, and plots, allowing them, the personalities I create, not me, to develop and refine their behaviors, emotions and actions as the story progresses to The End!

Demi Brandon was born and raised in the suburbs of the historic city of rich culture, music and heritage – New Orleans.

Twenty-three years ago she was a Case Manager at a children and family services in Los Angeles with a passion for writing and history. She had always dreamed of writing books. Her first effort, Bedside Fairy Tales, released in 2000. She has since published six books, including the award-winning psychological thriller Dark Echoes. From 2000 to 2014, she was featured in several notable magazines and newspapers and landed two appearances on the Tom Joyner Morning Show. Her latest work, Deep South Done: Beyond Gumbo, is scheduled for release i early 2024.

Demi lives with her husband of 30 years and business partner near Atlanta, Georgia.
